Language development support program for your child
Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center conducts the language development
support program to evaluate the language level of multicultural children and provide language education to
children in need of additional language guidance after the language evaluation.
  • Application period : Application available all year round
  • Eligible beneficiaries : Children of multicultural families residing in Geumcheon-gu/children of migrant workers and saetomin residents (aged between 30 months - 12 years)
  • Program details
    • Language evaluation : Language test conducted with a standardized test tool after parent counseling (main rearer)
    • Language education : Provides tailored language education to promote language learning such as the promotion of language development, improvement in conversational and social communication ability, pronunciation, reading, and writing.
    • Parent counseling : Guide to the details of language education and home guidance
  • Location : Language Development Guidance Class, 3F, Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center
    External agency (public place where the evaluation and education is available such as childcare facilities, kindergarten, and elementary schools) warning※ Home visits are not available
  • Required documents : A copy of the resident registration certificate, family relation certificate, and resident registration card or a copy of the alien registration card
